廖俊智院長，臺灣大學化學工程系畢業，美國威斯康辛大學麥迪生校區化學工程博士；先後任職紐約羅徹斯特柯達公司生命科學實驗室、德州農工大學、加州大學洛杉磯校區。2016 年 6 月 21 日受 總統任命為中央研究院第十一任院長，並於 2021 年 6 月 21 日續任第十二任院長。就任中研院院長前任職於加州大學洛杉磯校區化學與生物分子工程系以及生物工程系等兩系主任。長期從事代謝系統改造、合成生物學、系統生物學及微生物合成燃料等基礎前瞻科學研究，研發的異丁醇生物合成技術已被應用在生質燃油製造；把細菌裡的不同物質轉化成化學品，以生物取代石油生產化學品，向大自然取材，直接將二氧化碳轉化為化學品，是廖院長另一項重大科學突破，將來可減少人類對石油的依賴，希望能同時解決環保和能源的問題。

廖院長過去雖然長期旅美，卻相當關注臺灣學術研究與綠色能源發展，曾先後擔任工業技術研究院高級研究顧問委員會委員、中油公司綠能研究所顧問，也曾應邀擔任國內多所大學及研究機構榮譽講座教授，對於臺灣的教育、學術研究、能源政策都深入瞭解及參與。

廖院長研究成就斐然，學術聲望崇隆，屢獲國際重要研究獎項。2010 年獲美國環保署綠色化學學術組總統獎、2012 年美國白宮再生能源創新獎、2013 年義大利總統頒授ＥＮＩ再生能源獎、2014 年獲美國國家科學院工業應用科學獎、2021 年獲以色列 Samson 總理獎等獎項，並獲選為美國國家工程學院院士 (2013 年)、美國國家科學院院士 (2015 年)、美國發明家學院院士 (2015 年)，於 2014 年獲選為中央研究院院士。研究領域橫跨工程、生物、化學及醫學等，為國際知名的傑出科學家，將為臺灣在綠能、生物及化學工程領域帶來更大的能量，以及更國際化。

孔教授在其研究生涯中橫跨多項電機資訊理論與系統領域，在人工智慧加速器相關領域如機器學習加速器、VLSI 設計、 高性能計算、平行計算、計算機結構和網路皆有研究創見。孔教授的學術榮譽包括美國國家工程院院士、台灣中央研究院院士、古根漢 Fellow 和 ACM SIGOPS 2015 名人堂獎。 孔院士於 2017 年起倡議成立台灣人工智慧學校，並自 2018 年起擔任校長至今。

Hung-yi Lee (李宏毅) is an associate professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan University (NTU), with a joint appointment at the Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering of the university. His recent research focuses on developing technology that can reduce the requirement of annotated data for speech processing (including voice conversion and speech recognition) and natural language processing (including abstractive summarization and question answering). He won Salesforce Research Deep Learning Grant in 2019, AWS ML Research Award in 2020, Outstanding Young Engineer Award from The Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering in 2018, Young Scholar Innovation Award from Foundation for the Advancement of Outstanding Scholarship in 2019, Ta-You Wu Memorial Award from Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan in 2019, and The 59th Ten Outstanding Young Person Award in Science and Technology Research & Development of Taiwan. He owns a YouTube channel teaching deep learning in Mandarin with about 130k Subscribers.

李昕穎 (Hsin-Ying Lee) 是 SNAP Research 影像創意中心的資深研究科學家 (senior research scientist) ，負責領導以 AI 生成 3D 的研究團隊。自 2017 年投身於 AIGC 領域，由 2D 影像、影片到 3D 模型，多年來一直專注於圖像生成技術的研究，歷經圖像生成 AI 領域不斷被質疑的年代後，期待未來有更多技術被大家廣泛地使用，希望能以簡單的方式帶大家了解圖像生成 AI 的原理。 現居美國加州矽谷，喜歡看動漫和下圍棋。

Dr. Huang''s research focuses on the investigation of computational approaches for modeling the interplay between figurative language processing and human knowledge representation, leading the pioneering work in Chinese discourse analysis. His works have been published in SCI/SSCI journals and top-tier conferences in the venues of artificial intelligence, computational linguistics, natural language processing, and information retrieval. Prior to joining the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Dr. Huang was an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National Chengchi University. His award and honors include the Honorable Mention of Doctoral Dissertation Award of ACLCLP in 2014 and the Honorable Mention of Master Thesis Award of ACLCLP in 2008. He served as the registration chair of TAAI 2017, the publication chair of ROCLING 2020, and as PC members of representative conferences in computational linguistics including ACL, COLING, EMNLP, and NAACL. He was one of organizers of FinNum Task at NTCIR-2014 and FinNLP Workshop at IJCAI 2019.

received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2009. She joined the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica as an assistant research fellow in Aug., 2012, and was promoted to be an associate research fellow in Aug., 2018.
Her research expertise lies in natural language processing and information retrieval, especially in sentiment analysis and opinion mining. She often publishes papers in top conferences including ACL, AAAI, SIGIR, WWW, NAACL, and EMNLP. She is very active in the research community, and the international professional activities she involves include the general chair and the program chair of StarSem 2021, StarSem 2019 and AIRS 2019, and the area chair of ACL, NjAACL 2021, ACL, EMNLP, COLING 2020, EMNLP 2019, ACL 2017, CCL 2016, NLPCC 2016, ACL-IJCNLP and EMNLP 2015. Her research is internationally recognized and has been served as the AFNLP Member-at-Large and ACL SIGHAN Asia Information Officer.
She is very experienced in academic and industrial collaborations. Her research collaborators come from US, Singapore, Sweden and Israel, and she is currently working with data companies and banks. Her current research topics focus on recommendation, visual storytelling, sensational text generation, fake news intervention, knowledge-based question answering, lie detection and social media analysis.
